Elena is a smart, kind and honest person. After hiring Elena as s teacher's aid, the two grow closer and closer together, which leads to them falling in love. These days, adaptation of book to screen can be…iffy. Elena asks that Marsten, Anson and Kane be called in as reinforcements. Somehow Elena survived and now is the only female werewolf, but Elena, not knowing the truth behind why Clayton bit her broke off their engagement. Albino B ties Jeremy up to a tree where his neck is like in a noose. Unfortunately, when Marsten refuses to pledge his allegiance to Konstantine and remain loyal to Elena, he gets killed. Elena navigates her life between the human world and the werewolf world as the only female of the species. Clayton not wanting this to be his lover's fate, bites Elena so she can have another chance at life. It was announced in May of 2014 that Syfy had green-lighted a second season, which is slated to begin airing in 2015, and the Space channel will also be airing the second season of Bitten. Stolen, the second novel in the Otherworld series, immediately follows the success of Bitten in telling the Elena Micheals story. Within an undergoing lab in the Maine woods, amongst a litany of creatures, from vampires to werewolves, witches and shamans, Elena will have to fight for her very survive as the collection of paranormal prey is loosed into the wild where they will be hunted for sport. Elena and Clay tracked down the Mutt at a warehouse party where chaos quickly followed after the Mutt turned. They all leave to live their lives. Savage is narrated by Clayton Danvers, and Bewitched by Eve Levine. Albino B is now at Stonehaven and is disappointed in Konstantine and his plans.

In the end Elena realizes that Stonehaven is her home, and that she loves Clayton. Winsloe brings her photographs that he claims are of Clay and that Clay is now dead. To pay for her college, Elena applied to be an assistant to an anthropologist professor, Clayton Danvers.

Bauer is transferred to the cell beside Elena's. However, that plan changes when Konstantine learns that Elena is the new Alpha. It is stated several times by Jeremy that Elena is the pack's best tracker. She has concerns about what effect her werewolf nature will have on the unborn child, something with no recorded precedent in Pack knowledge. Elena is a student at the University of Toronto with Clayton there as a professor. Elena tells her father that she will turn herself into Konstantine and not tell Clay of her plan. Currently, Kelley Armstrong lives in rural Ontario, Canada with her husband and three children where she continues to write and publish. There are 13 books in the series and while each book has an over arching plot, the series is one mega plot that was amazingly done. The answer is no. Bitten initially begins as another typical supernatural/romance story, but quickly evolves into something so much more. With his abilities of Astral projection, the shaman is able to not only determine that he is not the only captive, but also to contact the shaman on the Inter-racial Council, Kenneth. She discovers Ruth has also been kidnapped. Elena evades him only to discover that he has colleagues and that they are trying to capture not only herself, but also the Winterbournes. The three werewolves are attacked by men working for Winsloe, but they are all killed. Elena Michaels is the female lead and protagonist of Bitten. So, the following day, when they arrive at the meeting, they do so with the head of one of the men in a bag. Along with various novellas and short stories, Armstrong has been responsible for three novels in the crime genre, a first for the largely fantasy focused writer. Jose Carter had been going around trying to give out information on werewolves existence. The Otherworld series of books are largely mystery oriented, following characters intent on solving some conundrum or answering a question.

Some of those shorts are available on her website, free to read. Stalked is a short story featured in the book titled My Big Fat Supernatural Honeymoon. Sondra Bauer becomes obsessed with turning herself into a werewolf and injects herself with some of Elena's saliva. They decline any offer to align themselves with the Council and leave. Alexei takes the stake from the rope and sends it straight through the head of Albino B and killing him.

Chloe is reluctant to go downstairs because she has had encounters with a ghost named Mrs. Hobbs who has “tortured” the child in the past, but the babysitter threatens punishment if she doesn’t go down. Bauer loses control and is killed by the guards. The books take a completely different turn. When she learns of trouble she leaves home for the estate of the Alpha of the Pack where she meets the man who, without her consent, turned her into a werewolf.

In the end they defeated the zombies and killed Jack. Elena is the narrator for four of the novels in the Women of the Otherworld Series.
