According to a Facebook post from the Grand County Sheriff’s Office, helicopters from the US Forest Service are also enroute. The Monarch Company created Monarch Lake by damming the valley, at the junction of Arapahoe Creek and South fork of the Colorado River, for use with the saw mill and the box factory.
