Avasarala and Cotyar share an emotional goodbye, and then Avasarala and Draper bicker all the way into their ship. Time to binge on, Screaming Firehawks! Hopefully the storage drive that Theo pulled from Mao’s ship will eventually help absolve Chrisjen of these scandalous accusations. This could be a callback to season 1, when Holden was filled with joy, finding real coffee on the Roci. Theo retrieves the comm logs, and Cotyar hustles the group to find this racing ship. The Expanse continues to be one of the best science fiction shows on any network or streaming service available today. As I watched these three very different people, literally from different planets, working and surviving together, I found the differences between them melt away. Season 3 was the show’s best yet, and I can’t wait to see where Season 4 takes us. From here we pull out to see the disassembled. Watch Seasons 1 - 6. The protomolecule can communicate with itself over great distances…let’s just say Holden had figured out that this location may be where they were testing and “building” the protomolecule. The Expanse continues to be one of the best science fiction shows on any network or streaming service available today. Watch Season 1. Bobbie gets shocked, her “tank” battle suit is screwed up and luckily Cotyar easily takes out the remaining Mao loyalists. Most likely he’s in a place where he doubts his ability to make competent decisions. The Rocinante crew are still stressed and bicker over going to Tycho or not. Next we see the Earth war room and all of the top UN officers, along with Errinwright and the UN Secretary General. Meanwhile Prax is in the cargo bay attempting to patch the holes ripped open during their recent battles. He says she's been running a shadow government (true) and helping, Fred Johnson (true) and running the weapons tests on Eros (false). Alex records a message to his family, apologizing for not being there for them. Chrisjen, Bobbie and Cotyar had found each other out of necessity. They find it, but the bad news is it's a two-seater. Holden smashing the coffeemaker followed by Prax calmly stating, “You should try tea,” was another funny moment as well. Elsewhere, Amos and Alex are tense with each other, and they talk about what to do next now that Naomi's deception has been revealed. Holden, Alex and Amos are cleaning off any remaining blue gunk, residual protomolecule, from the outside of the ship. Gillis ends up buying it and gives the order to have her apprehended "at all costs.". Holden completely believes that the protomolecule humanoid hybrid on their ship last season was not Mei. Cotyar remembers someone mentioning that Mao keeps a racing ship for his son aboard. However, I’ve had even more with Drummer. Later, Naomi. They need to get to it. Den of Geek In this episode Chrisjen must face and overcome all of these challenges and it is a treat to witness. Prax is pretty much the only one on the Roci still talking to Naomi, so they bond a bit over what they should name the transponder. As news of the protomolecule snakes its way around Earth, Mars, and the Belt, everybody is, preparing for war. They're being, sought by both Martian and Earther patrols and won't last long on their own. I’m still not sure what to think about Fred Johnson. On Tycho, Drummer is still pissed at Fred for trading away the dream of a new way forward for the Belt, just to get in cahoots with Dawes and the protomolecule. Even though they have each other, it’s not the same. As the episode goes along, it settles into a more quiet, if no less intense descent into its new storyline, but by now we all know this show just doesn’t let up for a moment. There are little touches, too, that offer a glimpse of storylines to come, making this a great introduction to the season.
